A real landing page, even if you don't have a website
Your free yourname.classquill.com address is a page, not a placeholder — an editable headline, an about section, a cover image and your socials, plus sections you switch on as you need them: subjects, tutors, reviews, programs, an FAQ, a contact form. A section with nothing in it just doesn't render, so a brand-new org never shows an empty shell. Tutor cards carry a verified WWCC badge once one's on file, and your rating shows once you've earned three reviews — both real signals, not decoration.
A branded sign-in button for the website you do have
Already have your own site? Paste one script tag and a "Sign in to your portal" button appears on it, opening straight into your branded sign-in — no separate login page to build or keep in sync.
Connect your own domain when you're ready
Verify ownership, point a CNAME, and your own domain serves the exact same portal — the free address keeps working the whole time, so a DNS hiccup on your end never takes your site offline.
Even the browser tab is yours
Once someone's on your address, the browser tab shows your name and your logo, not ClassQuill's — before they've signed in, and after.

Do we need our own domain to use this?
No. Every org gets a free yourname.classquill.com address the moment you sign up, and it's a real page from day one — your logo, your colour and editable content, not a placeholder. Connecting a domain you already own is optional and can happen later, whenever you're ready.
Does our branding follow us into the app, or just the sign-in page?
Into the app. Once you're on your own address, the branding holds everywhere on it — the sign-in screen, the dashboard, the browser tab — not just a login page bolted onto an otherwise generic product.
