However you teach, there's a version of ClassQuill built for it

The same platform works differently depending on whether you're a whole tutoring company, a solo tutor, an online or in-person business, a group-class teacher, or an educator running self-paced courses with a community. Start where you fit.

Who this page is for

Tutoring businesses are not all run the same way. A company with a team of tutors needs scheduling, pay and oversight. A solo tutor needs booking and invoices without the admin of a team. An online business needs video and homework in one place, and a course creator needs lessons and a community. This page helps you find the description of ClassQuill that matches how you actually operate.

How the setups fit together

These pages are views of one platform, not separate editions. Most businesses overlap: a tutoring company often teaches both online and in person, and an independent tutor may start with one-to-one lessons and add group classes later. Whichever you read, the same scheduling, billing and progress reporting sit underneath. If you want the Australian overview of the category, read tutor management software in Australia, or compare by subject on the tutoring software by subject page.

Who it's for: common questions

Is ClassQuill only for large tutoring companies?

No. There is a page for tutoring companies and a separate one for independent tutors. A solo tutor gets booking, invoicing and a built-in learning platform without the team overhead, and a company adds one calendar across tutors, pay rates and per-tutor results.

Can I run online and in-person tutoring on the same account?

Yes. Online lessons use the built-in video and whiteboard, and in-person lessons use the same timetable, reminders and lesson write-up. The online and in-person pages describe the differences in how each one is run.

How does group tutoring work with per-student billing?

A group class stays one booking to schedule and teach, while attendance, rates and homework are still counted per student. The group and small-group page explains how that works.

Does ClassQuill support self-paced courses?

Yes. You can run self-paced courses with drip release and a members' feed alongside live classes and billing. In a classroom feed only staff can start threads, so it works as a teacher-led feed rather than an open member forum.

What if I fit more than one of these?

That is common. The pages describe operating models, not separate products, so a tutoring company that teaches online and runs group classes can read both. It is the same platform in each case.
